Founded in 1970, New Futures School is an alternative school in Albuquerque Public School District that offers school education and support services for pregnant and parenting teens. It offers education programs, health, counseling, vocational development, and child care services for pregnant adolescents and adolescent parents. Its courses are approved by the New Mexico State Department of Education. New Futures offers all courses necessary for earning a high school diploma. In addition, middle school courses are also offered. The students who attend New Futures are either pregnant or school-aged parents earning credit toward a high school diploma. The school is located in Albuquerque, N.M.
