Although Gary Martone has a wealth of knowledge about SSI/SSDI law, he maintains a "hands off" approach to handling the thousands of cases he accepts. This means your Social Security Disability case is worked on by his support staff. In my experience with him, over the four-and-a-half (4-1/2) years it took to obtain SSDI benefits, it was extremely difficult for me to ever speak directly to him. His staff handles all of the questions and attempts to provide the client with a status on the case. Yet, since his staff appears quite overworked, miscommunications about my case status were a common occurrence. Unless you are willing to wait three to four years to ultimately be heard by the Administrative Law Judge, I highly recommend that you locate an attorney other than Gary Martone. I suggest you find an attorney who will agree to a more personalized approach to handling your case, allowing you to be involved updated and informed about your case status.
