My life changed after beginning Legacy Church. Your life can also be changed!

Legacy Church is a large non-denominational church with 5 locations that preaches the Bible, the Word of God, without watering it down. The Church is led by Pastor Steve Smothermon.

If you really want to hear the Word and not some New Age interpretation of the Word, this is where you should attend and worship. The praise and worship is fabulous. Wonderful facilities, friendly people, great pastors and staff.

Don't believe the bad reviews of those who object to the preaching of Pastor Steve Smothermon. He just preaches the Word of God (like the Bible tells him to do), and unfortunately some people don't like it.

VERY HANDS OFF, ARROGANT, NOT SERVICE DOG FRIENDLY, EVEN AFTER ALL DOCUMENTATION HAS BEEN GIVEN. ALL SHOW, GLITZ AND GLAMOUR. HAVE NO INTEREST IN REALLY HELPING ANYONE. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BEING SURE OF YOURSELF AND ARROGANCE. AND LEGACY CHURCH FALLS INTO THE ARROGANT CATEGORY. IF YOU LIKE A PRETENTIOUS FEEL GOOD CHURCH WITH NO CHALLENGE TO YOU, U LIKE THIS CHURCH. I CALLED THE CHURCH ONE DAY, I DON'T NEED FOOD, MONEY, SHELTER OR ANY PHYSICAL NEEDS, NEEDED HELP IN AN AREA OF MY WALK, AND WAS TOLD, BY THE SECRETARY PASTORS DO NOT DO THAT HERE. IT CONCERNS ME, THAT A CHURCH IS MORE INTERESTED IN KEEPING UP THE APPEARANCES OF GLAMOUR AND THE RITZ, HAVE NO REAL INTEREST IN HELPING PEOPLE, EXCEPT HELPING THEMSELVES INTO PEOPLE'S BANK ACCOUNTS. I UNDERSTAND IT TAKES MONEY TO RUN ANYTHING, THAT IS NOT THE CONCERN, BUT WHEN A CHURCH REFUSES TO DO ITS MAIN FUNCTION, "EQUIPPING THE SAINTS", IT IS NO LONGER A CHURCH BUT A CORPORATION OUT TO MAKE A PROFIT, AND THAT IN TURN SHOULD BE ELIMINATED FROM BEING TAX EXEMPT.

Legacy is an amazing Bible centered church that love and take care of the city. I am one of many who received their love and my life is changed by the glory of God and the church reaching out.

I absolutely Love Legacy Academy. Both of my children went to Legacy and to my amazement, came out of Pre-K doing cursive, reading, short math and remarkable bible memorizations! The staff is so wonderful. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone. I homeschool my children now, due to an accident my husband was in and lack of finances, but I will definitely do whatever I have to to send my now 3 year old to Legacy for her first year. They provide an outstanding foundation for learning.

In October 2009, Legacy Church and Pastor Steve Smothermon co-hosted an event with the infamous hate group leader and holocaust revisionist, Scott Lively. Lively is also widely held to be one of the American "catalysts," as author Jeff Sharlet put it, of the wave of ter...ror against African Gay people. I think that Proverbs would label him as having a "froward mouth." Bringing Lively to your church shows a remarkable lack judgment...to understate.

This is a church of what may be too large for many people with so many leaders to help you and direct you in the right path just as it is in the scriptures of the Word of God. The Word of God is implemented in our lives by serving you as an indidvual and/or as a family. Plenty of resources, nothing too large nor too small just what is needed right where you are at in life. Quality life just as God has promised a brand new life as we walk in his rest. The Truth is taught at every service, in every bible study, in every ministry. Not to be left out, put out but to gain what is yours; as the most precious child of God.
