After impressive service and knowledge by one of the "owners", we purchased a hot water power unit from Hotsy Equipment Company in Albuquerque to use for our business. We were promised top of the line parts and an inclusive warranty. Now, after only 6 months, the unit doesn't work and they don't want to uphold the warranty. Instead, they want me to purchase another unit, twice the price! After speaking with my local mechanic, I've come to find out that all the wiring in this unit is cheap and all bad. It looks like they intentionally put in faulty wiring so that we would be forced to have the unit serviced with them. They claim that they will NOT warranty any of the electrical components, they can't locate our purchase information AND the guy who sold it no longer works there! STAY AWAY from this fraudulent company. Our company's motto is to do the right thing even when no one's watching. Unfortunately, not everyone follows that value.
