Horrible! Most Rude Staff Ever!

The absolute worst. Call ANYONE but these people! I was stranded at a major intersection while visiting Alb. in the pouring rain with thunder and lightning in the middle of the night. The phone operator asked me how I was paying and if I had cash 3 times!! Apparently they accept credit cards but their crooked behinds want cash--for non-tax? What is that about? Are they a crooked front or what? I said I had cash and was more than happy to pay them. The driver came and refused to pick me up because "I wasn't standing in the right place"--even though I told him I was the one who called and he asked me my name!! He wouldn't even lower his window! So I had to call them AGAIN after waiting one half hour for the cab. The operator was very rude, and told me to call Albuquerque cab. I told him I would report them to the Better Business Bureau and his manager. He sent another cab after I called the Green Cab Company --probably was afraid---at that time I had already called the car and sent the poor driver away. Now, the second driver was kind but the company operators are incompetent, ignorant, and an absolute nightmare! What kind of people leave a middle aged woman stranded in a thunderstorm in the middle of the night!. I was shopping at Whole Foods while visiting and did not know it was that impossible to get a cab back to my hotel. No matter they lost out on a $20 fare and a good tip. If that is how they treat people, they deserve to go out of business. And then co's complain that there is no work!Get with the program Checkered Cab or you will be a thing of the past. Imagine sending customers to your competition! What a joke. These people don't deserve your hard earned money. Call Albuquerque or Green. The Green Cab came in 5 minutes. The operator was probaby right for referring me elsewhere. Everyone in town trusts Albuquerque more than them. I found out the hard way
