With the turn of the century and the introduction of the automobile, the needs of the public changed. Watkins Spring Company, located at 368 Central Avenue, Albany, New York, was established in 1908 to provided spring, brake and front end service for the automobile. From one blacksmith building in 1908, it has grown into one of Albany?s largest repair shops and Alignment facilities.
