Organized in 1974, Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative (LPVEC) is a group of seven school districts focused to enhance the quality of education in the member school districts. Located in Agawam, Mass., the organization offers various programs, such as LPVEC energy management program, special education programs and school transportation services. In addition, Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative (LPVEC) is a provider of cooperative bidding and purchasing of natural gas, fuel oil, electricity and design services for new boiler systems and other energy using systems in schools and municipal buildings.
