My kids have been attending abington martial arts academy for 4 years now. My son is a blue belt with black stripe and mt daughter is a purple belt. The dojo is very much like family and Sensi Chris makes it a point to get to know each child. He even has special fun movie nights at the dojo that my kids look forward to. Chris is a GREAT karate instructor who demands discipline, respect and attention from all his students and will put his foot down when necessary. He makes it fun and even heart healthy by having karate bootcamp. Chris is not only a karate instructor but a firefighter paramedic so I being a mom NEVER worry about my kids safety while they are in his care. Chris makes it a point to teach all his students young and old important life lessons and what's going on the world today so they will be street smart and able to defend themselves if necessary. I would truly recommend abington martial arts academy to anyone. WE LOVE YOU SENSI CHRIS!!!!!

I have been a student here since the dojo first opened up about five or six years ago, and I love it. The community environment of the dojo is by far the best part. All of the students are great and Sensei Chris takes time to really get to know everyone and helps each student. It is really great to learn practical defense techniques and these are a core focus of the classes. Also, a lot of the karate is focused around respect and discipline, which makes the dojo the amazing place that it is. I highly recommend Abington Martial Arts Academy to anyone interested in trying out karate or learning self defense techniques.

If I could give 20 stars I would. Owner Chris Walsh takes on multiple classes and has each and every students best interest at heart. From dropping off for class to belt tests, my son has truly enjoyed his experience at this studio. My son was very shy and clingy. I enrolled him in karate and what a difference. Not only was he taught the do and don't involved with martial arts, he was also taught self confidence, respect, and self control. I am so thankful for every bit of care that this studio/instructor has helped bring my son to a whole new level. Since day 1 I have suggested this business to others and I will continue to do so. His students show great respect above and beyond their time in the studio.Thank you Chris Walsh for such an amazing experience for our son.

Sent our child there for several months, Master Chris is a very nice guy , but the classes have no structure, way to many kids in the class to effectively teach any of them. my child learned very little. The other kids act like they are at recess at school, no discipline or structure. prices were good but you get what you pay for. in summary good price, no structure or discipline , but a great place for your kid to go to act up and not follow directions

My kids attend classes at Abington Martial Arts Academy. They love the classes and look forward to attending them each time. Sensei Chris keeps the kids attention by changing the dynamics of each class while building their confidence and fitness levels. I would highly recommend Abington Martial Arts Academy to anyone looking for Martial Arts training. He also offers Cardio Kickboxing, Womens Self Defense classes & Yoga Classes.
